Dismayed at dust from quarry

Madam,

I write in reply to about the Alltgoch Quarry operations.

As a resident in Cwrtnewydd of 22 years, I am pleased to hear and witness the success so far for the new owners of the quarry, but am dismayed at the amount of cement and quarry dust that the village now has to live with.

Regarding the lorries, my only gripe is the rubbish and spilled gravel that doesn’t get cleaned up.

So, Alltgoch, my message is, clean up behind you.
