Erin Fflur won the annual ‘Dyniaethwr KS3’ award, given to a pupil in Year 9 who has reached a very high standard in religious education, geography and history. Joseff Griffiths, also of Year 9, accepted the ‘Rory Hickish Memorial Award’ for the highest scoring in his maths exams. Rory was a very gentle and hard working pupil at the school and an avid mathematician. He lost his battle against a neurological condition in 2007 when he was in Year 9. Like Rory, Joseff is also extremely conscientious and excels in mathematics

HIGH achievers have been recognised at an end of year awards ceremony.
Earlier this month, a special service was held at Ysgol y Berwyn school to recognize the hard work, and special effort and attendance by individuals from Year 7 to 10.
