Down in the Underground Gallery at Galeri Harlech is some work by attendees of Shaftesbury Day Opportunities Centre in Llandudno.

The centre supports differently-abled adults.

Taking the beach as their theme they collected, shells, seaweed, string stones etc. Under the guidance of Clara Jones, an artist who regularly holds Junk Journal workshops in Llandudno, they imprinted shells on clay tiles, took rubbings, painted and designed.

The result is two very colourful and lively collaborative picture boards with pieces that occasionally fall off as well as some separate collages and assemblages.

The work will be on display at Galeri Harlech until Thursday, 27 August, and later at Oriel Mostyn from Tuesday, 22 September until Friday, 2 October.
