Menter Aberystwyth held a summer fête for all the family on Saturday, 22 June.

Money raised at the event in Laura Place will go towards the appeal for the National Eisteddfod being held in Tregaron next year.

There was a stage with entertainment on throughout the day, stilt walkers made their way through the crowds, and there were fairground rides, a farmers’ market and lots of other attractions.

There was also a fancy dress competition, made up of eight categories, in light of the demise of the town’s annual carnival.
