Over 1,200 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Wales with two new deaths, according to the latest figures.

Data released by Public Health Wales this lunchtime, which covers a 48-hour period from 9am on Friday to 9am on Sunday, reports that 1,256 new cases of coronavirus were recorded over that time, with two new deaths also being reported.

After relatively low figures in recent weeks, Ceredigion recorded 12 new cases of Covid-19 over the weekend, with neighbouring Carmarthenshire recording 61 cases.

Pembrokeshire recorded 28 cases over the weekend, with Powys recording 44 and Gwynedd, 36.
