A LLANFIHANGEL ar Arth woman has presented £5,500 to Glangwili Hospital’s chemotherapy day unit as part of fundraising of more than £12,200.

Delyth Hughes raised the huge amount after organising a hugely successful tractor and classic car run in October, with the money raised being split between the chemotherapy unit, the B4 Haematology unit at Heath Hospital and Llandysul’s Llyn y Frân Surgery.

She launched her fundraising effort to thank the units after she received care after being diagnosed with leukaemia in January.

Delyth received treatment at both Glangwili and the Heath hospitals and said she was grateful for the support in helping to raise vital funds for the units.
