THE Personal Watercraft Partnership Gwynedd jetski group held a 100km jetski ride from Blackrock Sands to Aberdyfi and back, raising over £4,000 for Wales Air Ambulance.

Fifty jetskis and three safety boats took part.

The purpose of the event was to showcase safe and responsible jetski use, increase consideration for marine life and other water users, promote north Wales as a premier location for jetskiers – and also to raise vital funds for Wales Air Ambulance Service.

The event was supported and sponsored by the Personal Watercraft Partnership, Datatag, RJP Insurance, Seadoo & Yamaha UK.

There was local watercraft industry support from Robert Owen Marine and Ideal Boat, and there was a hog roast/after party hosted by Cardigan View Caravan Park, where a successful raffle was held, further boosting the donations already given by the jetskiers who entered the event.

Donations to date have totalled £4,220.
