A BALA electrician is celebrating 25 years of having the most colourful house in town – with another year of spectacular Christmas lights.

Gareth W Edwards, of Garwen Rhyduchaf, has been putting on a growing Christmas lights display since 1990, and the attraction brings people from miles around each December to his house.

Gareth, pictured inset with wife Heulwen and daughters Ellen and Hana, said: “We’ve had a lot of people around the house this year, coming to see a life-size Santa in the garage and walking around the house to see the lights.”
