The monthly meeting was held on 5 November at Tysul Hall.
As this was the AGM, all members present voted and duly elected the branch’s new president, Susan James.
Once the business was over members had a session of ‘human bingo’ led by Susan James and Lesley Cutler.
This proved to be absolutely hilarious and required everyone to mingle and ask each other for what were most likely unknown facts to most, such as who had ridden an elephant.
Everyone agreed that great fun was had by all.
The tea hostesses were Daphne Jones and Lone Howell. The vote of thanks was given by Angela Hurley.
The competition for a ‘bingo sentence’ was won by Christine Carman.
The next meeting is on 3 December which will be the branch Christmas dinner at the Porth Hotel.
Entertainment will be provided by magician Tom Dodd.
The competition is for the best wrapped Christmas present (value £4).
