Coffee Morning
A SUCCESSFUL coffee morning was held at the Church Hall on Shrove Tuesday, with everyone enjoying the pancakes made by Daphne Davis, Llanfihangel ar Arth. The enjoyable morning raised a total of £404, in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance.

Trefnwyd Gwasanaeth Sul y Blodau ar ddydd Sul, 20 Mawrth gan ddechrau o Gapel Seion am 10yb ac yna teithio i’r Graig, yr Eglwys a Chapel Penybont. Bydd y casgliad yn mynd tuag at Ward y Plant, Ysbyty Glangwil a chyflwynir y siec ar nos Fercher, 18 Mai ar ôl y daith Gerdded Nod-dedig i Gymorth Cristnogol a fydd yn cychwyn am 6yh o’r maes parcio ac yna Gwasanaeth Ewyllys da i ddilyn.Bydd ymarfer ar gyfer Cyngerdd Brethyn Cartref ar nos Fercher, 24 Chwefror am 6.30yh yn Neuadd yr Eglwys, gobeithio y medrwch ddod i gefnogi.Merched Cylch ClettwrAN ENJOYABLE evening was spent on Wednesday, 10 February at the chocolate factory at Glanarthen, Glynathen, with the members enjoying the visit and then a meal at the Red Lion, Drefach Felindre. Thanks were given to Ann Mayes Davies.

THE FIRST meeting after the Christmas break was held on Tuesday, 9 February at the Porth Hotel. Mrs Williams, the chairman, opened the meeting with a warm welcome to the 48 members present.After the business of the day, Mrs Williams introduced speaker for the afternoon, Mandy Rogers of Llandeilo. Her talk and film show was called Journey to Madagascar and was based on the wild life there. At the conclusion of the meeting, we were served tea and pancakes by the Porth. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 8 March at the Porth at 12.30pm for a cawl lunch to celebrate St David’s Day.There is also a lunch at the Porth Hotel on Wednesday, 24 February.
