ON TUESDAY, 3 May, members vis-ited the Gomer Press at Llandysul for a conducted tour of the press.Firstly they were given a talk on how Gomer had started and progressed over the years, before going to see how the machines really worked.It was fascinating to watch how a book was formed from beginning to end.Gomer has many staff and send books all over the world.John, who gave the excellent tour, was thanked by Delyth, the branch president.Members followed this with dinner at the Hungry Trout in New Quay. The monthly business was dealt with and congratulations went to Paula for winning first prize at the spring rally for a packed lunch for diabetics. She also came second for her cordial while first prize went to Delyth.The next meeting will be on 7 June when Llyr will show the groups some bags and accessories.New members will be welcomed.

THERE will be a practice for the choir on Wednesday, 25 May, at Llwyncelyn chapel vestry at 7pm and on a weekly basis after, but no practice during half term.The intention is to compete in the National Eisteddfod at Abergavenny on 4 August.
