A GROUP of bikers from the Llyn Peninsula have handed over a cheque for £5,000 to the local Blood Bikes charity.

Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorbike Club, with the help of their family and friends, have for an eighth year running managed to raise an amazing amount of money for another good cause.

This year’s chosen cause, voted for by the club members, was “The Blood Bikes North West Wales” branch.

On 2 April, 95 bikers took part in the now annual fundraising motorbike run around Gwynedd.

The hard work by the club members and friends during the weeks before and after the main day have allowed the Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Club to donate this year a total of £5,000 to The Blood Bikes North West Wales.

A cheque was handed over to The Blood Bikers outside the Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor last Wednesday, 6 September, to Blood Biker Garry Frost and some of the other members of the Blood Bikes.

The cheque was presented by club representatives, 2017 lead rider Dafydd Jones and sweep rider for 2017 Paul Stevenson. Also in the picture is Menna Price.

Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Club have now raised over £42,783.70 for good causes during the last eight years.
