A local football team has celebrated its 60th anniversary.

On the Friday before the bank holiday weekend, Llanuwchllyn Football Club held an evening at Neuadd Buddug Cinema in Bala to celebrate six decades.

Taking part on stage were Osian Roberts, Meilir Owen, Dilwyn Morgan, Osian (from popular band Candelas) and Alys Williams.

On stage was the impressively large Pantyfedwen Cup which the Llanuwchllyn team have claimed twice.
