ABERYSTWYTH’S annual bonfire night fireworks display will move venue this year, after years of the skies above the town’s football club being lit up in celebration.
The annual extravaganza, hosted by Aberystwyth Round Table, will this year be held at Aberystwyth Rugby Club.
Aberystwyth Football Club has hosted the event for years, but this year will not do so, following development plans at the club including the laying of a new 3G pitch.
Organisers have promised that its first year at the rugby club will see a display “bigger and better” than ever, and thanked the football club for its support over the years.
A spokesperson for Aberystwyth Round Table told the Cambrian News that moving to the rugby club was “exciting”.
The annual fireworks event will take place at Aberystwyth Rugby Club on Saturday, 5 November. The gates will open at 5.30pm, with the fireworks beginning at around 7pm.
