Madam,
It would appear more and more small businesses are giving out a mobile number as their point of contact, believing this is beneficial. I can assure them it is not.
With a mobile number, you cannot tell whether the firm is based one mile from you or 100 miles away.
I am fed up with wasting my time and money contacting businesses who don’t operate in my area.
With a landline, one can tell from the area code if a company is local or not.
Yours etc, R McDermott, Aberporth.
