A path has partially collapsed in Aberystwyth, restricting ramped access to the rugby club, schools and nursery nearby.
The footbridge by Aberystwyth Rugby Club remains open, but the ramps have been closed off following the collapse of part of the path next to Mudiad Meithrin.
Cllr Ceredig Davies, who has posted dramatic pictures of the collapse, said: “The ramps will probably be closed for some time which will have an impact on those wanting to cross the bridge whilst using a wheelchair or pushchair.
“Ceredigion Council had already started the process of assessing the work required in order to rectify problems that had been identified with part of the ramp in question.”
Ceredigion County Council has been asked to comment.
