Community events

IT’S NEARLY the end of another very successful year for the village which saw the purchase of the old school for use as a community centre and an improvement in fundraising efforts.The future looks bright for the community and anyone who doesn’t believe community spirit still exists should have been at the recent coffee morning when residents were beautifully entertained by the school or at the village Christmas lunch. Both events were well attended and there was a strong inclusive atmosphere – just what everyone is looking for at this time of year.The year will close with the village New Year Party starting at 8.30pm in the community centre.
