Plans to demolish one of a row of beachfront bungalows in Aberaeron and build a two storey home in its place have been given the go-ahead by Ceredigion County Council planners.

The plans will see the 1960s bungalow at Eglin on Beach Parade demolished and replaced with the new home, matching the existing footprint.

The proposals include building a modern home with two balconies to take advantage of sea views and four bedrooms in the new home over two floors.

A council planning report outlines that the next door property has been given similar permission, although work has yet to be undertaken.
