More than 3,500 people have registered to vote in Ceredigion since the General Election has been called.
Ceredigion County Council told the Cambrian News that 3,606 new voter registrations had been received ahead of the election before voters go to the polls on Thursday.
Figures were not available for how many of the registrations were from completely new voters, with registration data also containing those who are registering after moving house and those who registered again to ensure a vote despite already being on the electoral roll.
If all the 3,606 are new voters, it would boost the electorate of Ceredigion by around eight per cent ahead of the third Westminster election in a little over five years.
The Cambrian News will be covering the election on Thursday night, bringing you updates from the counts in Aberaeron and Dolgellau
