So the government is once again targeting pubs and restaurants that are already struggling. They must be an easy target. Who wants to buy alcohol at 10pm anyway? And what risk is wearing a mask when ordering at the bar going to pose?
I feel sorry for those who once a week socialise with their mates after working hard all week and can’t even do that. We will all turn into unsocial humans scared even to talk to each other.
And not all pubs and restaurants cope with taking all orders from the tables, that’s if they have one in the first place! We have seen our friends owning restaurants and pubs. Struggle to cope with the changing laws which change from county to county.
For most this has made it impossible to remember what laws are law, especially if you travel around the country.
The trend not to let people socialise is not good for the human spirit, it is needed more than food.
• Gwynedd is tops for sunsets, that is a fact, and Harlech Top Road is the place to see them. The colours range from orange red through to pink and purple spectacular. In the winter you see a pink sea and mauve sky. If you painted them, people wouldn’t believe the spectrum of colours. We in Harlech appreciate this view, which differs each night.
You really would have to see to appreciate the wonder of this scenery that surrounds us.
