Ysgol Tudweiliog recently presented Kelly Williams from Sarn with a cheque of £1,015.50 for Pancreatic Cancer Action.

The school decided to raise money for the cause because of Kelly’s efforts to raise money for the charity after losing her mother to Pancreatic Cancer last year.

The Tudweiliog school council decided they wanted to help Kelly and decided that the school should go on a sponsored walk.

Thirty-nine children from Reception to Year 6 and staff walked nine miles, starting at the bottom of Garn Fadryn, walking up, then back down and walking back to Ysgol Tudweiliog.

Everyone was in good spirits and had enjoyed the walk.
