TWO people have been taken to Bronglais Hospital after a crash between a car and a lorry in Chancery.

The crash, which happened shortly before 2.45pm today, has led to the closure of the A487 in both directions between Llanfarian and Blaenplwyf.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at about 2.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a lorry in Chancery, near Aberystwyth.

“We sent two crews in emergency ambulances and two patients were taken to Bronglais General Hospital.”
