Madam,

May I make a request, via your letters page? I have been asked by PCSO Sian Davies to be the local co-ordinator for the new Llandysul “Speed Watch”.

There have, I am told, been complaints about speeding in Llandysul morning, afternoon and evening (Speeding motorists don’t care about pedestrians), so I am seeking volunteers to help.

We already have five volunteers, but we need three volunteers per session, so nine volunteers would be nice for rotation.

There are no fixed hours and you would only be needed a few hours a month to help make the roads a lot safer. Speed guns would be used and training given.
