A second-hand bike sale has raised hundreds of pounds for a fund supporting access for young mountain bikers.

On Wednesday 18 March the Trailrippers Project CIC hosted a bring and buy sale at Y Plas in Machynlleth, rehoming many pre-loved items of clothing, bikes, bike parts and accessories.

The sale, funded by donations from pro-riders, individuals and local businesses, raised £750 for Trailrippers Dyfi Groms Fund.

The Fund provides support for young people in the Dyfi Valley to access the vast array of mountain biking networks around them, offering support with the cost of coaching, equipment, repairs, club membership and race entries, up to £50 per person annually.
