The study revealed Peyto Lake in Canada is the world’s most eye-catching destination, with Snowdon coming in seventh place, beating other beauty spots including the Marble caves in Chile and the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico.

According to Kuoni, the top 10 beautiful places in the world are:

1. Peyto Lake, Canada

2. Meeru Island, Maldives

3. Jurassic Coast, UK

4. Yosemite, USA

5. Lake Tekapo, New Zealand

6. Niagara Falls, Canada/USA
