Nearly £300 have been raised for St Peter’s Church, in Aberdyfi, after a strawberry tea was held at Neuadd Dyfi.
Kathy Ryan from St Peter’s said: “This was the first time we have held our annual St Peter’s Church Strawberry Tea at Neuadd Dyfi and I am happy to say that it was very well supported.
"Our team worked very hard and we are thrilled to have raised nearly £300.
"Everyone enjoyed some lovely strawberries donated by the Co-op in Tywyn and we also provided home-made scones with jam and cream and a selection of home-made sandwiches Margaret Jones played a variety of lovely piano pieces throughout the afternoon and our afternoon tea was a great opportunity for everyone to escape the heat for a while and enjoy a refreshing cup of tea and great company in the relaxing, cool atmosphere of Neuadd Dyfi.”
