On Tuesday, 15 September, an ambulance was called to a remote area near Bird Rock, where a gentleman had fallen off his bike and was in great pain.

Over an hour had passed before he was found by a caring couple, visiting the area.

Due to no mobile network, they had to travel a distance looking for a signal. They came upon myself and husband, and together we were able to call for help and give directions.

An ambulance was dispatched from Dolgellau, followed instructions and were with the injured party within 30 minutes. I would like to thank the two young men who attended, for their care and compassion, diolch o galon hogiau am wasanaeth bendigedig. Also thanks to the couple for their care, with speedy recovery to the patient.
