A concert will take place this week as part of a Porthmadog school’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
Ysgol Eifionydd has organised a number of events to mark the milestone, including a concert starring Tremadog tenor Rhys Meirion.
The world-renowned singer will take to the stage at Y Ganolfan at 7.30pm this Thursday.
Headteacher Dewi Bowen has been organising the anniversary events.
He said: “In order to celebrate we have invited both past and present pupils and staff to a coffee evening in the school.
"To close celebrations we will hold a sporting tournament along with our feeder primary schools during the summer.”
