Barmouth Royal British Legion has raised £3448.08 for the Poppy Appeal.

£2611.08 was raised through donations to appeal boxes and £837 from wreathes and church collections.

“There are still some outstanding donations for wreathes that have been promised but not submitted which will increase this,” said Neil McMaster, honorary Poppy Appeal organiser for Barmouth.

“Thanks to members who delivered and collected boxes and wreathes, and stood out in the cold collecting donations. The branch would also like to thank everyone who donated, as their generosity provides us with the means to look after our military personnel and their families.”
