Businesses and the wider community in Aberaeron have survived/flourished in spite of and not because of Ceredigion County Council.

Looking at an old picture of the town with bunting across the road in Market Street, this is put up at the beginning of summer, always a sign of the famous Aberaeron Carnival, alas unable to take place as a result of the chicanes and narrow roads inflicted on the businesses, townspeople and the wider community.
