Madam,

Cross Inn is without a post box and has been for some months now.

I have been in correspondence with the post office for a couple of months and the most recent email has indicated that it could be another 12 weeks before a new box is in place.

I find it extraordinary that an organisation as large as the Post Office can leave a village without a box for such a prolonged period.

How hard is it to fix up a new post box I wonder?
