A whale carcass found on Harlech beach has been removed.
The 6.5m length blue whale carcass washed up on Harlech beach, missing its head and tail.
Barmouth Coastguard Rescue / Gwylwyr y Glannau Abermaw posted pictures of the carcass on social media, explaining that an excavator would be taken to the beach to dispose of the carcass.
A spokesperson for Barmouth Coastguard Rescue said: “The carcass is no longer there as it was buried very soon after.”
