I was wondering if any of the Cambrian News readers can identify which animal would have dug this hole in our garden?

The hole would indicate an animal the size of a mole, but there were no mole hills, though it seems the entrance to a tunnel. The animal must have been strong enough to dig out and move a few small stones. Surprisingly there were lots of bees in the hole.
