Madam,

Many years ago when I lived in Tywyn I used to visit a farmer near Llanrhystud, a Polish National, who during the 1939-45 war was a commander of the Free Polish Air Force. He had many photographs of visits to Buckingham Palace but I can no longer remember his name. All I do remember, bearing in mind that my age is 88, is it was Shultz or rhymed with Shool. Can your readers please help me with tracing this wonderful man? It is particularly important for me right now as we have a local memorial service each year for the members of the Polish Air Force who were lost in combat flying from a local airfield (East Wretham) in Norfolk.

Yours etc,

Peter Knight, Allt-Yr-Yn, 131 Shipdham Road, Dereham, Norfolk.
