MEMBERS of Meirionnydd YFC branches are busy putting the final touches to this year’s Wales YFC Eisteddfod 2015.

The chair this year was produced by a young carpenter from Meirionnydd, Aled Llyr Davies.

As a Bryncrug YFC member, Aled managed to design and craft the chair whilst working in Sheffield.

The winning bard or litterateur will be presented with this breathtaking chair after winning with their work at Aberystwyth on the 21 November.

Wales YFC wish to thank Aled very much for producing such a special chair for the occasion.

Whoever the lucky member who will win this chair is, they will be very lucky indeed to keep this chair.

The chair was kindly sponsored this year by a local meat producing company, Cig Oen Maethlon, and we are very thankful to them for their generosity.

The local Meirionnydd company will also be serving their fine produce at the Eisteddfod, so be sure to try some.

With the chair ready, the last minute preparations are slowly being put in place and we all look forward to welcoming you to the Great Hall, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, on Saturday, 21 November.
