On my recent visit to Aberaeron I was shocked and saddened to see what has happened to this once idyllic town.

I have an interest as I was born in Market Street (many years ago!) This part of Aberaeron has had the most detrimental effect on the town.

If it’s the intention of Ceredigion County Council to keep locals and tourist away, then they have made a first class job.

Well done Mair Harrison(‘Councillor quits’, Cambrian News, 29 April), let’s bring the decisions affecting the town to people who, the people have elected, not to the Gold Command who thought up this hair-brained scheme.
