LLANDYSUL put the double disappointment of last weekend’s two defeats behind them as both teams recorded wins on Saturday.

In the Division One clash, Gowerton elected to bat first at Victoria Road but paid the price as captain Matthew Mason was dismissed for 2 runs in 13 balls while wicket keeper Thomas Davies at three went for 0.

Opener Lee Nicholas kept things ticking over for the hosts making 41 including 5 fours and there were decent knocks by David Gascoyne (17), Rhodri Owens (18), and Christopher Mason (28) as the hosts hit 156 in their allocated overs.
