BOW Street’s impressive start to the season continued as they remain unbeaten in the Ardal North East but they will be disappointed to drop two points against Llandrindod Wells on Saturday after missing a host of chances.

The Magpies took an early lead through 16-year-old Caio Carruthers but failed to build on their bright start against the spirited and well drilled visitors.

They paid the price for not taking their chances when Richard Powell equalised for the Spamen with 15 minutes to go.

More chances fell Street’s way in the closing stages but it summed up their day when Ben Davies was given his marching orders in stoppage time after being handed two late cautions in the only fixture to survive the poor weather on the day.

They will look to get back to winning way when they head to Machynlleth for an FAW Amateur Trophy clash on Friday evening.
