KGM Builth Wells Garages will support the Mini Powys Lanes Rally as it returns to the classic lanes of mid-Wales on 7–8 November. The dealership will host pre-event scrutineering at its premises, welcoming competing crews as they prepare for the rally.
Taking place each November, the rally brings together a passion for motorsport and a commitment to supporting the local community. Since it first ran in 2011, the event has raised more than £24,400 for local causes and charities, giving it a significance that extends well beyond the competition.
The 2026 rally will continue that story, with the lanes of mid-Wales providing the setting for a night of competition. For those taking part, it is an opportunity to put their driving, navigation and teamwork to the test, while supporters can share in the atmosphere of a local motorsport event.
Visitors will be able to see competing crews prepare for the event during pre-event scrutineering at the dealership.
Martyn Evans, a director of Builth Wells Garages, said: “The Powys Lanes Rally is a fantastic example of an event that brings people together while giving something back to the local community. With more than £24,400 raised for local causes and charities since it began, there is plenty to celebrate beyond the rally itself.
“We’re delighted to support this year’s event with scrutineering facilities, and we look forward to welcoming crews and supporters.”
There is very limited parking available on site. Spectators attending scrutineering should park in Llanelwedd or at the Groe car park in Builth Wells and walk over the bridge to the dealership. Please park considerately and keep pavements and access routes clear.
