A GIRL has been airlifted from Dolgellau’s leisure centre this afternoon.

In a statement, the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at shortly after 2.40pm this afternoon to reports of a medical incident at Glan Wnion Leisure Centre, Dolgellau.

"We sent the Wales Air Ambulance and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and a girl was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd."
