ARMED police arrested a man for an alleged firearms offence following an incident on the Llyn Peninsula on Tuesday afternoon.

Several police vehicles swarmed on Pwllheli town centre and a man was later arrested.

The arrested man was later released under investigation.

It is believed police had been called to an alleged road-rage incident.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “We were called to Pwllheli and one man was arrested for alleged firearm offences.

“He has since been released under investigation.”
