A key Mid Wales road is currently closed while emergency services deal with an incident.

The A489 from the Llanidloes bypass and near Newtown College is closed and people are being asked to use an alternative route.

"Emergency services are at scene and dealing. We will update you when the road reopens," Dyfed-Powys Police said on social media.
