POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash 10 miles south of Cardigan on Friday in which a motorcyclist died.

At around 3.50pm yesterday, Friday, police responded to reports of a collision on the A487 at Felindre Farchog.

A Yahama 125cc motorbike and a Vaxhall Astra were involved.

Sadly the 41-year-old female rider of the motorbike died at the scene.

She was named today (Saturday) as Debbie Anne Rodgers.

Her grieving family have released this brief statement: “Fly high, our beautiful independent traveller.

"No passport required for this, your final journey.

"Daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and friend.

"Always planning her next trip.

"Forever loved – tawel orffwys.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to get in touch with Dyfed-Powys Police.

They said: "If you saw what happened, were in the area around this time, or have dashcam footage of or prior to the accident, please get in touch.

"Your assistance could help our investigation."
