AN elderly thrill-seeker died after visiting Blaenau Ffestiniog’s ziplines over the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, the visitor, Ernest Allen, 70, from Tansley in Derbyshire, died from natural causes, on a visit to Zip World Titan with his family.

The man was riding the zipwire when the medical emergency took place.

Sean Taylor, commercial director at Zip World, said he was saddened by what had occurred.

“Our thoughts are with the family who lost their loved one following the events of Saturday,” he said.
