POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men “grabbed at” a lone woman in an early-hours incident in the grounds of Aberystwyth’s castle.

The woman “quickly ran from the scene” and was uninjured in the incident which happened at around 3am on Thursday, 5 November.

Police said they are “keen to identify” the males involved in the incident.

A Dyfed-Powys police spokeswoman said: “They are both believed to be of Asian or Eastern European origin, with one being of broader build and the other described as skinny build.”
