Police are appealing for information to trace Shea Davies, aged 21, from Aberystwyth, who has not been seen since Saturday morning.

He is believed to be wearing camouflage-style clothing - a green jacket and black trousers. He has short black hair.

Coastguard and lifeboat teams from Aberystwyth and Borth searched the Constitution Hill area on Monday night for Shea.

A spokesperson for the police told the Cambrian News that “Shea is still missing and enquiries are ongoing this morning”.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101, quoting reference 113.

A spokesperson for Aberystwyth RNLI said: "The Aberystwyth lifeboat Spirit of Friendship was launched just after midnight into challenging sea conditions with four volunteers on board to assist Dyfed-Powys Police in the search for missing Shea Davies.

"The lifeboat searched along the shoreline between Aberystwyth and Clarach, with a shore-side search being carried out by both Borth and Aberystwyth coastguard teams.

"During the search the lifeboat launched four illuminating parachute flares to help all search teams with visibility.

"After approximately one hour of searching the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station. The lifeboat was quickly refuelled and made ready for service should we be called upon again."
