THE A499 between Y Ffor and Pwllheli is closed this afternoon after a collision between two ambulances.
North Wales Fire Service crews from Pwllheli and Abersoch have been called to the incident and also a technical rescue unit from Caernarfon.
Two Wales Air Ambulances have also been called to the scene.
It is not known as of yet whether anyone involved is injured. A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Shortly before 3pm this afternoon, Thursday 28 April, we were made aware of a serious road traffic collision on the A499 in Pwllheli involving two of our vehicles. "We have multiple resources at the scene of this accident, including Wales Air Ambulances, supported by North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. This is all of the information we are able to share at this stage.”
