SIX anti-social behaviour warnings were issued in Rhayader in just one week.

Dyfed Powys Police revealed in just one week, from 20 to 28 November, police issued six anti-social behaviour warning letters, which could lead to fines of up to £2,500.

A spokesperson said: “Concerns were raised by residents about the activities of a number of youths in the area. The activities ranged from knocking on doors, being abusive towards members of the public, causing nuisance to residents and general anti-social behaviour.

“The youths have been issued with warning letters advising them to stop their behaviour or they could be liable for further action. Rhayader Neighbourhood Policing Team officers will continue to engage with the community to prevent any further escalation of incidents in the area.”
