Madam,

Upon my annual visit to Llanbadarn Fawr to stay with my friend, I was appalled to see that the church-yard of St Padarn’s is still very overgrown with grass and weeds higher than the wall, at the back and sides but surprise surprise, the front of the church is kept well maintained!

No wonder dog walkers let their dogs off the lead to run amongst the overgrown graves at the back.

As an active church, surely it is the responsibility of the vicar and church members to see that the graves, however old they are, and land surrounding the church, within its boundary, are kept properly maintained.

How very, very sad.

Yours etc
