Re: Last week’s story ‘Tributes to Aberdyfi RNLI stalwart’. What a lovely story of one man’s pure dedication to the lifeboat of Aberdyfi.

Brian S Bates was a stalwart to this vital institution, and even in ill health gave his time.

He was a man who showed true devotion to this life-saving institution.

I’m sure he will be missed by the community for many years to come.
